REPORTING TO: Conference & Banqueting Manager
HOURS: Full-time and Part-Time positions available. Hours and days of work are dependent on Conference and Banqueting Event Calendar.
JOB LOCATION: Galgorm Hotel. You will be working across all of our Wedding and Events Suites.
SALARY: £12.71 - £14.21, Payscale
About the role:
Galgorm Spa and Golf Resort, the premier Wedding Venue in Northern Ireland, has become renowned for its beautiful setting, which lends itself quite magically to becoming a dream wedding location. We can host up to 3 weddings a day, 7 days a week over our 3 beautiful wedding suites, The Great Hall, Four Seasons, and The Renaissance Suite. We also cater for other private events including formals, private dinners, and corporate meetings. As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will join a fantastic, dedicated Conference & Banqueting team focused only on delivering tiptop service to all our visiting guests. Job Description:
Main duties will include, but are not limited to:

Welcoming all guests in a friendly, polite manner.

Serving food and beverage in a variety of settings and styles.

Following the daily order of events as directed by the Conference & Banqueting Manager.

Using the restaurant till systems to place orders and process customer payments correctly.

Directing any customer complaints to the Banqueting Manager.
- Making sure your personal appearance and uniform are in line with the required Resort standards at all times.
- Observe all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations.
- Attend any training that has been set up to aid your personal development.

The Person:
Applicant must:

Have a passion for the hospitality industry, great food, and great service.
-
Have at least 1-year of previous waiting experience in a bar/ restaurant.

Be an excellent team player with a positive and friendly attitude.
-
Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work morning, daytimes, evenings, and weekends.
- Have strong communication skills and be able to multi-task.

Have a sense of pride in the delivery of high standards of presentation and the Galgorm Collection brand.
