Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to provide temporary holiday cover across a commercial cleaning contract. This role is initially to cover 2 hours per evening, Monday to Friday, from 12th August to 20th August, paid at £14.00 per hour.
Although this is a temporary position, there is potential for additional work beyond this period for the right candidate as further cover requirements arise.
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring our clients' premises are presented to an excellent standard.
Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning duties across commercial premises, including offices, washrooms, corridors and communal areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and sanitise designated areas.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures.
- Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet rolls and paper towels where required.
- Report any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns to management.
- Follow company cleaning specifications and health and safety procedures at all times.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard before leaving site.
Experience
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as full training can be provided.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering high standards of cleaning.

- £14.00 per hour
- 2 hours per evening
- Monday to Friday
- 12th August – 20th August (Holiday Cover)
- Opportunity for further temporary or permanent work may be available following the cover period.
