Job Title: Wraparound Care Assistant - Teaching Assistant Level 2
Salary: £7591.53 - £7712.00 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3.00pm to 5:30pm, Term time only
Fixed Term Contract until July 2026 initially
St. Kenelm’s is a small village school in a beautiful rural setting. We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, organised and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our hard-working, friendly Wraparound Care Team.
You will be responsible for assisting the Wraparound Care Lead with the day-to-day running of the service, providing engaging activities, and ensuring high standards of safeguarding and wellbeing for all children.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:
-
can effectively run activities for children in the Nursery and Primary age-range
-
will adhere to policy and procedures
-
will support children with selecting/eating their meals and clearing away afterwards.

has experience of working within the Primary age range (experience of working with children with additional needs would be advantageous).

understands the principles of children’s development in the Early Years, Key Stages 1 and 2
-
has high expectations in terms of children’s behaviour and engagement with activities.

is willing to contribute positively to the life of the school and its community
-
can work effectively as a team member

NVQ Level 2 qualified or equivalent (this is a requirement of the role)

is positive, flexible and reliable
