Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Front of House Event Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the on-site delivery and smooth running of a wide range of events ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism.
This is a hands-on operational role focused on event delivery, working within our venues across Edinburgh and the surrounding area. The role requires excellent communication, leadership and problem solving skills, with responsibility for managing front of house teams, coordinating with our wider operations team to ensure every event runs safely, efficiently and providing our clients with the best possible service.
- Lead front of house operations during event setup, delivery, and breakdown.
- Manage and supervise event staff, ensuring high standards of presentation, service, and professionalism.
- Act as the main on-site point of contact for clients, guests, suppliers, and venue representatives.
- Coordinate on-site logistics including staffing, equipment placement, guest flow, and event schedules.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed throughout events.
- Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively during live events.
- Monitor event delivery to ensure a positive guest experience at all times.
- Support staff training, briefing, and performance management.
- Maintain excellent communication with all event stakeholders throughout delivery.
This is a 5-month contract, however subject to performance, this role has the opportunity to become a permanent position.
