Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively bar environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess good organisational skills, and have a positive attitude. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Duties
- Serve drinks efficiently and accurately to customers in a timely manner
- Take orders and process payments using the bar’s point-of-sale system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area throughout shifts
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Provide friendly and professional service to all guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the start and end of shifts
Skills
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Good basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy hours
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing demands
- Personal presentation that reflects professionalism and enthusiasm
