Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourers / Carpenters / Bricklayers to join our growing team.
In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various construction projects by performing a wide range of tasks within our team.
Your energy and attention to detail will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards.
We are looking for people with 2/3 years experience in the trade as a minimum.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators for site preparation and material handling
- Support construction activities by loading/unloading materials, digging trenches, and preparing work sites
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and injuries on site
- Work well with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to project timelines
- Impeccable time keeping, we start on site promptly at 8am.
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction is essential. Please specify if you have a set skill (brick layer / carpenter / electrician)
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators are highly desirable
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning new skills
- Valid driver’s license is an asset; our sites are around Bath/Bristol, so having your own car would also be a big plus
- Experience operating equipment like excavators is beneficial
