Essential Homecare is a family-run domiciliary care provider supporting adults in their own homes across the Wigan borough. Established three and a half years ago, we are a fast-growing organisation that has recently been rated Good overall and Outstanding in Well-led by the Care Quality Commission.
We are looking for energetic, reliable and compassionate people to join the Essential Homecare family. You will support people with personal care, medication, meal preparation, companionship and everyday tasks, helping them remain safe and independent in their own homes.
As a Care Practitioner, you will be a valued member of our team, providing person-centred care with kindness, dignity and respect.
Previous care experience is desirable but not essential. Successful applicants will receive comprehensive training, ongoing support and opportunities for career development and progression.
Shift patterns
- Early shifts: 6:30am–2:30pm
- Late shifts: 3:00pm–10:30pm
- Staff must work Saturday and Sunday every other weekend
- Full-time and part-time opportunities are available
Essential requirements
- A full UK driving licence
- Access to your own vehicle
- A caring, friendly and compassionate approach
- Reliability and good communication skills
- The right to work in the UK
- Satisfactory enhanced DBS check and employment references
