At Nottingham School of Boxing, we are much more than a boxing gym. We build champions both in and out of the ring by helping people develop confidence, resilience and discipline. Alongside our sister organisation, Switch Up, we deliver life-changing programmes that support children, young people and adults across Nottinghamshire.
Our coaches work in a variety of settings, including our community hub, schools, alternative provision settings and community venues. Every session is an opportunity to make a positive impact, whether you're teaching boxing fundamentals, delivering multisport activities or supporting young people to build confidence and resilience.
As an England Boxing affiliated club, we pride ourselves on delivering safe, inclusive and high-quality coaching.
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed Sports and Boxing Coaches to join our growing coaching team.
This is a flexible, casual position offering between 5 and 20 hours per week, with opportunities to increase hours as our programmes continue to expand.
You'll be delivering engaging boxing and sports sessions to participants of all ages and abilities, supporting positive behaviour, encouraging participation and creating a safe, welcoming environment where everyone can thrive.
Has experience coaching boxing, sport or physical activity.
Holds a recognised sports coaching qualification.
England Boxing Level 1 or Level 2 Coaching Qualification is desirable.
Has experience working with children and young people (desirable).
Is confident leading groups and adapting sessions to different abilities.
Has excellent communication and motivational skills.
Is reliable, organised and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle (desirable), as travel across Nottinghamshire may be required.

This role involves working with children and vulnerable adults and is therefore subject to an Enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and safer recruitment checks.
