Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Provide detailed product information and answer customer inquiries with clarity and confidence
- Upsell additional items or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain organized merchandise displays through effective merchandising techniques
- Process transactions efficiently using point-of-sale systems while practicing excellent phone etiquette
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple customers during busy periods
- Support store organization by restocking shelves and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met
Experience
- Previous retail or sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating discounts or totals
- Excellent organizational skills to keep the sales area tidy and well-stocked
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and phone etiquette is beneficial
