Role: Production Operative

Mark Speirs - Upholstery Production Manager
Location: Clayton, Bradford. BD14 6LT
Type: Full Time & Permanent
40 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 7.30am to 4.30pm
Friday: 7.30am to 1.30pm
Overtime: Monday to Thursday: 6.30am to 6.00pm
Friday: 6.30am to 1.30pm
Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour with piecework being awarded once minimum requirements are met.
Interviews for this position will start in January 2026

Key Responsibilities
Assembly of motion furniture mechanisms & finished products using hand & power tools
Ensure all work meets stringent quality standards
Work efficiently to meet targets & strict deadlines
Perform manual handling & lifting tasks
Follow all safe working practices & maintain a clean and tidy work environment
Provide support in other production areas when required
Key Skills & Requirements
Experience of using a variety of hand and power tools
The ability to consistently produce a very high standard of product
Be able to manually lift & handle heavy loads
Possess effective communication skills
Maintain a positive attitude towards work
