Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team and help keep our production equipment and facilities running safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role involving both electrical and mechanical maintenance in a busy manufacturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out planned maintenance on plant and equipment.
- Responding to electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs.
- Completing calibration checks and PAT testing.
- Identifying spare parts requirements.
- Supporting equipment installations, upgrades, and improvement projects.
- Helping improve safety, reliability, and efficiency across the site.
- Following health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Right to work in the UK.
- Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
- Level 3 Electrical qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience of electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Basic IT skills.
- Ability to distinguish colours for electrical safety purposes.
Desirable
- Experience in an automated manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Understanding of machinery safety.
- Knowledge of abrasive wheel regulations.
Shift Pattern
This role works a 28-day rotating pattern of days and nights:
4 days on, 5 days off 5 days on, 4 days off 5 days on, 5 days off
