We are looking for a self employed site manager to manage a £1m project in the Leicester area. This Project will run for approximately 24 weeks, with an opportunity for more work thereafter. Ideally we are looking for someone from a trade background to manage our projects who does not mind getting their hands dirty if needed. Essential to have their own transport, SMSTS and First Aid at Work.
We are a Midlands based contractor who specialises in the charitable and commercial sector. For the right candidate there is an opportunity for future work and a permanent employment position.
· Must have appropriate construction management qualification and experience required to manage construction projects from 250k up to 2.5 million pounds in value.
· Essential to have good communication, problem solving, motivational and team working skills.
· Full UK driving license required.
· Must hold a black or gold CSCS card.
· SMSTS within the last 5 years essential.
· First Aid at Work within the last 3 years preferred.
· Setting out and extensive ground work experience preferred.
· Experience with all forms of construction including new build, housing, refurbishments, extensions and small civil works preferred.
