The Role
The successful candidate will be joining a finance team and will get involved in key roles within the financial function covering several companies within the Group.
The ideal person will have Excel and Word experience and ideally but not essential, a working knowledge of Sage accounting package.
Good communication skills will be vital, and the ability to work closely as a team will be an important consideration.
Full training will be given as part of the apprenticeship role plus enrolment on an AAT course, 1 day per week, ultimately aiming to become AAT qualified.
You will gain invaluable experience and provide a high level of administrative support across all our finance functions of Invoicing, Credit Control, Purchase Ledger and wages Department
The salary will be in line with National rates for Apprentices which is £16,640 per annum for an 18-year-old and under plus the full cost of the AAT course will be covered. Other benefits such as a company bonus scheme, ‘life-cover’, pension scheme and employee benefits scheme. The position is for 40 hours per week, Mon-Friday and from the hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm with 1-hour lunch break
About You
· Good GCSE grades in English and Math's will be required, plus relevant A levels.
· Self-motivated with good communication skills
· Will have a flexible, can-do approach always
· Will have a desire to improve
· Good knowledge of computers and the use of Microsoft packages Excel, Word etc.
· Good organisation and time management skills
· A positive and enthusiastic attitude
