We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Assisting dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Preparing treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and setting up necessary equipment
- Providing excellent patient care by offering support, reassurance, and post-treatment advice
- Maintaining accurate patient records and updating treatment notes using IT systems
- Managing appointment schedules and ensuring smooth patient flow throughout the clinic
- Adhering to infection control protocols and health & safety regulations at all times
- Supporting administrative tasks such as organising stock supplies and maintaining cleanliness of the practice environment
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients and team members
- Basic IT literacy to manage digital records and appointment systems effectively
- Organised with excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in record keeping and task management
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in patient care and healthcare services
- Good command of English, both spoken and written, to facilitate clear communication
- Prior experience in nursing or healthcare is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
