We're looking for a motivated Swim Teacher Assistant to join our friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to build a rewarding career in swimming.
No swim teaching qualification? No problem.
For the right person, we'll provide support and opportunities to complete recognised swim teaching qualifications and progress into a qualified Swim Teacher role.
The Role
As a Swim Teacher Assistant, you'll work alongside our experienced teachers, helping to deliver fun, safe and engaging swimming lessons.
You'll support children of all ages and abilities while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a professional swim school environment.
Hours are flexible and will vary depending on our lesson timetable, with opportunities to work:
- Weekdays
- Evenings
- Weekends
- Additional cover shifts where available
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Friendly, enthusiastic and approachable
- Enjoy working with children
- Reliable and punctual
- Excellent communication skills
- Confident in and around water
- Willingness to learn and develop
Desirable
- Previous experience working with children (teaching, coaching, childcare or similar)
- Swimming experience
- First Aid qualification
- DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
