Responsibilities
- Manage entry and exit points by verifying identification and authorizations for all visitors, staff, and contractors.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to monitor activity across the premises, ensuring safety and security at all times.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behavior and intervening when necessary to prevent theft or damage.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, coordinating with emergency services as required and completing detailed incident reports.
- Maintain vigilant surveillance of the environment, including conducting patrols and visual inspections to identify potential security risks.
- Enforce site policies and procedures consistently while providing excellent customer service to visitors and staff.
- Support first aid procedures when needed, assisting injured individuals until professional help arrives.
Experience
- Previous experience in security or a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of CCTV operation, surveillance techniques, and loss prevention methods is highly desirable.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure while handling challenging situations effectively.
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Door Supervisor license is required for employment.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring environments and identifying potential issues.
- Basic understanding of first aid procedures is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided if necessary.
