NSH Developments Ltd are based in Diss, Norfolk. We are a family run business. Most of our work is within half an hour of Diss, but we do travel up to 1hr away for larger jobs.
We are looking for an experienced and time served carpenter to job our team. Self employed position to begin with. The option of moving across to employed after a trial period. The role would suite someone who is company orientated and works well in a team.
Work ranges from smaller renovations and extensions to 1 of new builds and barn conversions. Our work is a mix of brick and block builds as well as timber framing through to period and restoration work. There is definantly a wide variety of work available.
The ideal candidates should have the following experience but not limited too
- Neat and take pride in your work
- Punctual
- Hand cut and truss roofs
- 1st and 2nd fix
- Period and restoration
- Timber framing
- Experience working with oak, repairs and new.
- Cladding & flooring
- Window fitting
- Must have own transportation and tools
