Summer Cafe & Reception Assistant (Part-time Evenings)
Location: Plymouth
Hours: Approximately 4–14 hours per week
Working Pattern: Primarily evenings (3:45pm–8:30pm)/ Weekends, with occasional additional shifts available.
Contract: Temporary Summer Position (until early September)

City of Plymouth Trampoline & Gymnastics is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic person to join our team over the summer holidays.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable work experience in a fun, friendly and fast-paced environment.
Although we don't operate a traditional café, our refreshments and reception area is a busy part of the club, serving the hundreds of children, parents and visitors who come through our doors each week. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in providing a welcoming experience for every family.
What You'll Be Doing
Your role will include:
- Preparing teas, coffees and other hot drinks.
- Serving drinks, snacks and refreshments.
- Operating the till and taking payments.
- Keeping the café and reception area clean, tidy and well presented.
- Washing up and maintaining excellent hygiene standards.
- Restocking drinks, snacks and supplies.
- Greeting parents and visitors with a friendly, welcoming attitude.
- Helping keep the front of the club organised and running smoothly.
- Supporting the reception team with simple day-to-day tasks when required.
No previous café experience is necessary – full training will be provided.

- Willing to get stuck in and help wherever needed.
- Takes pride in keeping things clean, organised and welcoming.
Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality or working with the public would be an advantage but isn't essential.
