As a Yard Operative, you will:
- Yard Duties: Assist with general yard duties, including stock control and maintaining clean and organised storage areas.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload vehicles with products for delivery and incoming supplier materials.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of stock locations and record keeping, while reporting any discrepancies or issues.
- Organisation: Accurately and timely complete all required documentation to enable clear traceability.
- Waste Management: recyclable and general waste control, to maintain efficient work environment and cleanliness.
- Safety First: Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site and off-site.
What We're Looking For:
- Team Player: A self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical Fitness: The role requires physical stamina for lifting and moving heavy items.
- Attention to Detail: Accurate and meticulous in paperwork and general vehicle and yard upkeep.
Desirable:
- Previous Yard Experience: Prior experience in a similar role.
- Previous Driving Experience: A current & valid fork lift licence.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
