Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Ground Worker/Plant Operator to join our team. This role involves operating and maintaining plant equipment, assisting with ground works, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. Duties
- Operate various types of plant machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, including excavators, loaders, and other construction vehicles.
- Assist with ground preparation, excavation, and site clearance activities.
- Concrete works, Drainage works, services, Block and beam installation, Driveways, pavements and roadways
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of plant machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to minimise risks on site.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as required for ongoing projects.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Support team members with general labour tasks as needed to meet project deadlines.Experience
- Previous experience in plant operation or ground work is desirable and essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to construction sites is advantageous.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery confidently and responsibly is preferred.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
