Self employed only
Must have a Hackney taxi license ideally
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a taxi vehicle, adhering to traffic laws and company policies at all times
- Provide friendly, professional service by assisting passengers with boarding, luggage, and route inquiries
- Navigate efficiently using GPS or traditional maps to reach destinations promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance and appearance
- Communicate clearly with passengers regarding routes, fares, and any delays or issues that may arise
- Handle cash or electronic payments accurately, issuing receipts as needed
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tires, lights, and other essential components
Requirements
- Valid Hackney drivers license with a clean licence
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with diverse passengers and team members
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance
- Knowledge of local streets, traffic regulations, and safety procedures
- Physical ability to lift luggage or assist passengers with mobility needs when required
- Commitment to punctuality, safety, and delivering excellent customer service at all times

We go that extra mile to help the elderly customer in and out of the car and offering to carry there bags of shopping to there door if needed...we always go that extra mile so you will need to be a very friendly caring person who is willing to offer this
