Job Title: Shop Assistant

Expected Hours: Negotiable, daytime hours.
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, friendly Shop Assistant to join our small team.
Duties
- Serving customers: answering the phone, operating the cash register, and credit card machine.
- Stock & Deliveries: Help with incoming deliveries and restocking.
- Rota Flexibility: Fill gaps in the schedule due to staff holidays or short-notice absence.
On-the-job training on site.
Requirements
- Availability: You must be available to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.
- Core Skills: You must be able to read and write clearly.
- Basic computer skills.
- Physical Tasks: You must be willing and comfortably able to lift heavy delivery boxes and stock items.
No Car Needed: You do not need a driving license or a car. We are highly accessible via the Bearwood Interchange bus network (buses 9, X8, X10, 11). Holding a valid driving license and having your own transport is a distinct advantage.
Pay & Remuneration
Wage is according to age and experience but will reflect at least legal minimum requirements.
