Front of House Team Leader

About the Role
We're looking for an experienced, friendly, organised and enthusiastic Front of House Team Leader to help deliver an excellent experience for our members & guests. You'll support the day-to-day running of our bar, restaurant, functions and clubhouse, leading by example and ensuring high standards of customer service at all times.
This is a hands-on role that would suit someone with previous hospitality supervisory experience and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the front of house team during daily operations.
- Provide a warm, professional welcome to members & guests.
- Help & oversee the smooth running of the bar, restaurant and functions.
- Ensure all service areas are clean, well-presented and fully stocked both before and after service.
- Support restaurant service, including setting up before service and resetting afterwards.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar teams throughout service.
- Assist with cash handling, stock control and stock ordering.
- Support the sale and display of club merchandise.
- Help train and support new team members.
- Follow all food safety, health & safety and licensing regulations.
- Report maintenance issues and ensure high housekeeping standards throughout the clubhouse.
- Open and close the clubhouse in line with company procedures when required.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a hospitality supervisory or team leader role.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A positive, hands-on approach with strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and functions as required.
- Personal Licence or licensing knowledge is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.

Additional Information
The Front of House Team Leader works closely with and supports both the Bar Manager and the Functions & Restaurant Manager. When either or both managers are not on shift, you'll be expected to take the lead in the day-to-day operation of the front of house team, ensuring service standards are maintained and the team is supported.
To help set you up for success, the successful candidate will initially join the team as a Front of House team member before progressing into the Team Leader position. This allows you to become familiar with our operations, standards and team while ensuring the role is the right fit for both you and the Club.
