Location: Kirkby-in-Ashfield, NG17
Pay: £16-£24.10 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Mon - Fri, Day Shifts

JDR Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder to join our client in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, NG17.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with an immediate start available, working within an established heavy industrial manufacturing and fabrication environment.
The Role:
Working as part of a busy workshop team, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating a range of heavy steel components and structures.
Duties include:
- MIG welding
- Welding around CHS (Circular Hollow Section)
- Steel fabrication and assembly
- Working with heavy steel components
- Working from engineering drawings and specifications where required
- Ensuring work meets the required quality standards
- Following health and safety procedures
- Working effectively within a busy industrial workshop
Requirements:
- Previous welding experience is essential
- Good MIG welding experience
- Experience welding around CHS is beneficial
- Previous experience within a heavy industrial, engineering, manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Comfortable working with steel and heavier components
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and hardworking
- Able to work safely and efficiently in a busy workshop
