We are seeking a reliable and professional Van Driver to transport goods to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner. This role involves driving a range of vehicles, from long wheelbase vans to Luton vans, and requires a flexible approach to working hours and duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods according to assigned routes
- Ensure timely collections and deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and company policies
- Load and unload parcel goods and cases, ensuring items are secured during transit
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance or safety issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation as required
- Provide courteous, professional service to customers and clients
- Comply with all health, safety, and company procedures at all times
Requirements
- Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns
- Previous experience in a driving role is required
- Experience with collections and deliveries of parcel goods and cases
- ADR qualification preferred but not essential
- Availability to work days, nights, and weekends
- Ability to work varied shift patterns
