The Opportunity
We are offering a structured, hands-on Casting Assistant Internship designed to give you real-world exposure to all aspects of the talent and casting process.
We understand you might be balancing university, a part-time job, or creative projects, so we offer flexible scheduling to fit your life. You can complete this internship via one of two paths:
- 1 day a week over 24 weeks
- 2 days a week over 12 weeks
This is a training-focused position where you will receive direct mentorship and insight from industry professionals.
What You’ll Learn & Do
- Casting Room Exposure: Assist our team during live, in-house casting sessions, talent submissions, and professional film projects.
- Agency Administration: Learn the essential ropes of talent agency etiquette, from handling professional phone inquiries to managing busy casting schedules.
- Creative Writing: Put your writing skills to work helping craft character breakdowns, talent bios, and project briefs.
- Industry Software: Learn how modern casting agents and directors organize talent pools, communicate with production companies, and use Microsoft systems.
Who You Are
- Industry Enthusiast: You have a genuine, deep interest in commercial, television, and film production.
- Tech Savvy: You are computer literate and comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and learning basic database software.
- Great Communicator: You have strong creative writing skills and a polite, professional phone manner (don't worry, full training on agency etiquette is given!).
- Organised & Eager: You possess great attention to detail, discretion (you'll be dealing with confidential scripts and projects), and a strong willingness to learn.
