Responsibility as Vice President of Channel Sales - EMEA
Reports to Senior Vice President Global Alliances the Vice President of Channel Sales – EMEA will serve as an integral part of the Global Alliance team responsible for the Developing and executing channel sales programs for various channels to drive results and revenue for Red Book Connect products.

You must have a solid understanding of what is required to develop, nurture and manage successful business partnerships and understand that follow-up and follow- through are an everyday must.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record in sales and business development in EMEA both direct and through partners.
- Ability to qualify, recruit and manage new channel partners within defined vertical markets.
- Ability to manage the entire life cycle of our business partnerships, from strategy to implementation.
- Develop and maintain solid relationships with partners, resulting in long term and profitable partnerships.
- Facilitate partners’ training sessions to encourage and motivate channel partners to promote our solution.
- Provide subject matter expertise to channel partners to support their marketing and sales efforts.
- Drive partner sales activities - Development and ongoing management of a sales pipeline and meet revenue/margin objectives on a monthly basis.
- Act as a liaison between channel partners, end clients and our senior management team.
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing programs and events supporting channel partners.
- Participate in trade shows and represent the company at other relevant external events
- Facilitate account reviews with channel partners.
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral) to keep partner and internal teams updated on activities.
- Solve problems & produce solutions by gathering and evaluating given data to identify alternatives when circumstances change.
- Ability and experience negotiating contracts and agreements.
- Successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales and/or business objectives.
Experience with the following is a plus:
- UK and European market experience Channel Business Development in Europe.
- Sales and Business development experience.
- Retail and Hospitality industry experience.
- Selling software to small and large accounts in the UK and Europe.
- Good business acumen, experience with contracts and pricing.
- Working knowledge of sales and prospecting methodologies.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of software sales experience and/or partner management experience.
- Proven track record of meeting sales and business objectives.
- Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, conscientious individual who is detailed and organized.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.
