School Cleaning Operative – Part-Time
We are looking for 2 reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operatives to join our team, working within a school environment.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 2 hours per day
Total: 10 hours per week, per cleaner
Location: Ladbroke Grove, London
Start Date: September 2026
Main Duties:
- Cleaning classrooms, offices and staff areas
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
- Emptying bins and replacing liners
- Dusting desks, furniture, shelving and accessible surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising high-touch areas
- Cleaning corridors, communal areas and entrance areas
- Cleaning internal glass and doors where required
- Restocking toilet roll, soap and paper towels
- General tidying and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the school
- Loading the staff dishwasher where required
- Locking and unlocking premises
- Completing daily check sheets
- Stock takes
We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, trustworthy and takes pride in their work.
Must Have:
- ENHANCED DBS CHECK
- COSHH TRAINING - Not required to start, will need to complete if not provided.
- Individual / Own Public Liability Insurance.
- If Applicable - Right To Work Checks.
BEFORE APPLYING- PLEASE READ:
- This is a self employed role. You are required to invoice at the end of each month for contracted hours unless otherwise.
- There is opportunity for further hours and day rates for specific duties.
Pay: £15.00 per hour
