We are looking for a passionate, hard working and organised chef to join our team. The Acorn has a fantastic reputation, having 5 stars on TripAdvisor and 4.9 on Google. We pride ourselves on fantastic, fresh food using the best produce from Somerset and Dorset.
This role is a part-time, permanent role which includes running our brunch service every Sunday morning. There is also potential for other shifts through the week if this is of interest. The ideal candidate will have some kitchen experience but we can offer full training. Most important is a desire to learn, a good work ethic and a love for local produce.

Duties
- Prepare and cook brunch dishes efficiently
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure smooth service
- Monitor food stock levels and add to order lists as needed
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen area
- Follow food safety and allergen guidelines
Requirements
- Kitchen experience
- Knowledge of local food and food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
