Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Night Care Assistants to join our team at Friends Housing Bristol in Cotham, Bristol. As a Night Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents during overnight hours, supporting our mission to provide high-quality, person-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive overnight care to residents, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Assist residents with personal care needs while respecting their dignity and privacy.
- Follow care plans accurately to meet individual needs.
- Monitor residents' health and well-being throughout the night.
- Communicate effectively with team members to report any concerns or changes.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Support residents' emotional well-being through compassionate interaction.
- Document any incidents or observations as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but the right attitude is equally important.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others.
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping purposes.
- Valid driving license is advantageous but not essential.
- Respect for residents' privacy and independence.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts.
