Responsibilities
- Safely operate a vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations during deliveries
- Load, secure, and unload goods with care, often involving heavy lifting.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS or maps to ensure prompt delivery schedules
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as stock organization, and loading/unloading when needed
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for compliance
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role,
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and vehicle maintenance practices
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
