We are looking to hire a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our busy maintenance team maintaining residential Mobile Home Parks in and around Berkshire but based in Tilehurst.
This is a varied and hands-on role that requires enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. This is an excellent opportunity to hone and develop your skills across a varied range of tasks.
Hours: Full-time, permanent
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm (45-minute lunch break)
Duties:
This is not a comprehensive list as every day is different!
- Carrying out routine repairs and maintenance around the park.
- Responding to relevant maintenance issues reported by residents or managment.
- Assisting with fencing, decking, drainage/sewerage and other small construction projects.
Requirements and Experience:
- Good physical fitness and confidence with using tools and machinery.
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools for various gardening and construction tasks.
- Knowledge of construction practices and safety practices relevant to outdoor environments.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to take on varied tasks.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s licence is essential, as you will be required to operate larger equipment and transport materials. Please do not apply if you do not hold a valid driver’s licence.
- Experience with small construction projects and day to day building work is highly desirable.
