Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Clear tables efficiently and assist with setting up for upcoming service periods
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and food safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to hygiene regulations
- Handle cash or electronic transactions accurately using POS systems
- Uphold health and safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Assist with day to day cleaning, unloading and loading the dishwasher
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred
- Familiarity with food preparation and kitchen operations is advantageous
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately
- Time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Culinary or kitchen experience can be beneficial but is not essential; willingness to learn is key
Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
