Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality cutting, colouring, styling, and finishing services tailored to each client's needs.
- Carry out professional consultations and provide personalised advice on hair care, maintenance, and suitable products.
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to encourage loyalty and repeat bookings.
- Recommend professional home-care products to support clients' hair goals.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional workstation at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the team to create an exceptional salon experience.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and products through ongoing education.
- Contribute positively to our friendly, professional salon culture.
Requirements
Essential
- NVQ Level 2 Hairdressing qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous salon experience.
- Confidence in cutting, colouring, and styling.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional, reliable, and positive attitude.
- Passion for delivering exceptional client care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
Desirable
- NVQ Level 3 Hairdressing.
- Experience with balayage, colour correction, hair extensions, barbering, or bridal styling.
- Existing clientele (not essential).
- An interest in scalp health, trichology, or hair replacement systems.
- A genuine desire to continue learning and progressing within the business.
