Overview
We are seeking motivated Self Employed Couriers to join our logistics team. This role involves delivering goods efficiently and reliably across various locations, providing excellent service to clients. As a self-employed individual, you will manage your own schedule and operations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of professionalism. The ideal candidate should have strong driving skills, good organisational abilities, and excellent communication skills to coordinate deliveries effectively.
Duties
- Collect parcels from designated depots or clients in a timely manner.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes.
- Safely load and unload items, load assist is available to help with this.
- Deliver parcels to customers’ addresses, ensuring accuracy and professionalism during each interaction.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, compliant photos of delivered parcels.
- Communicate proactively. Good English is essential.
- Ensure your vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and compliant with legal requirements.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations during loading, transit, and delivery processes.
What is required
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier is desirable but not essential.
- Smart phone
- Own transport
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Strong organisational skills for route planning and time management.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and dispatch teams.
- Reliable transportation that meets the requirements for self-employment in logistics services.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of service quality.
