We are seeking a professional and organised Secretary to provide essential administrative support within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining invoices and inventory up to date.
Responsibilities
- Answering and directing phone calls with professional etiquette
- Managing schedules, appointments, and meetings for staff and management
- Handling correspondence via email, mail, and other communication channels
- Data entry and maintaining accurate records using various software tools
- Organising files, documents, and office supplies to ensure smooth workflow
- Preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation as required
- Assisting with invoicing and financial record keeping using QuickBooks or similar software
Skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive)
- Experience with data entry and clerical work ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong typing skills for efficient document preparation and communication
- Good phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-moving environment
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
