Class Recruitment are delighted to be working with a welcoming and forward-thinking nursery in Yate (BS37) who are looking for a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join their team.
The nursery is an innovative childcare setting where children and their development are at the core of all that they do. They are committed to providing a nurturing, stimulating environment where every child is supported to learn, grow and reach their full potential.
The setting cares for up to 70 children aged 0–5 years and has a strong focus on creating positive relationships with families. They pride themselves on their excellent parent partnerships, working closely with parents and carers to ensure children receive consistent and high-quality care.
The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting the children's learning, development and wellbeing.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality care for children aged 0–5 years
- Supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities
- Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS
- Building strong and positive relationships with children and their families
- Working closely with parents and carers to support children's individual needs
- Creating a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment
- Supporting children's personal care and daily routines
- Working as part of a friendly and supportive nursery team
- Following safeguarding procedures and promoting children's welfare
What we're looking for
- A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Experience working with children aged 0–5 years
- A good understanding of the EYFS
- Knowledge of safeguarding and children's wellbeing
- A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Someone who is passionate about supporting children's development
- A reliable and committed attitude
Hours & Salary
Monday–Friday, between 7:30am and 6:00pm
The nursery is happy to consider flexible working patterns for the right candidate, so whether you're looking for full-time or part-time hours, they are keen to have a conversation.
Salary: from £13+ per hour, depending on experience and qualification
