John George is one of the U.K.’s leading wholesale distributors of fixings and fasteners to building, roofing, fencing and agricultural merchants.
We are open Monday to Friday except Bank holidays.
We are looking for a van driver that can do 7.5ton work too, to work out of our Clevedon depot doing multi drop deliveries to our regular customer base in South Wales and the West Country, including Bristol.
Duties include although not limited to:
- Breaking down, checking and sorting your load prior to despatch
- Manual handling of loads to customers where required
- Completing vehicle defects & maintenance forms
- Working to deadlines
- Adhering to health and safety protocols
The ideal candidate will need to be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills and: a full driving license
- an ability to drive with or without Satnav
- a "can do" attitude
- an attention to detail
- be good at listening and assimilating information, be flexible and open minded
- be able to work off of their own initiative
Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 6:00 - 16:00
