Truck Wash Attendant / Yard Person
Are you a hardworking, dependable person who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in delivering a high standard of work?
We are looking for a Truck Wash Attendant / Yard Person to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious and enjoys working as part of a team.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and washing a variety of HGVs and commercial vehicles.
- Safely and efficiently moving vehicles around the truck wash and yard.
- Operating high-pressure washing equipment and using approved cleaning chemicals.
- Carrying out interior valeting of truck cabs to a high standard.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised yard and wash area.
- Following all company health and safety procedures.
- Ensuring vehicles are cleaned thoroughly and consistently to a high standard.
- Communicating professionally with HGV drivers and visitors.
- Promoting our services and helping to develop positive customer relationships and business growth.
About You

- Is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Takes pride in their work and has excellent attention to detail.
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Has a strong awareness of health and safety.
- Can follow instructions and established procedures.
- Has good communication and customer service skills.
- Can work confidently both independently and as part of a team.
- Is enthusiastic, practical and willing to get stuck in.
Previous experience in vehicle washing, valeting, yard work or a similar role would be an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right person.
