FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established property certification and energy compliance business with the recruitment of an experienced Energy Assessor / EPC Assessor.
Permanent position. The role will involve completing EPC assessments across properties throughout Glasgow.
Salary:
Negotiable, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out Energy Performance Certificate assessments on properties
- Visit client properties and complete accurate on-site energy assessments
- Collect and record property information required for EPC calculations
- Produce accurate EPC reports and recommendations
- Ensure assessments are completed in line with relevant standards and accreditation requirements
- Liaise professionally with homeowners, landlords, property managers and commercial clients
- Manage appointments and complete reports within agreed timescales
- Maintain accurate records of completed assessments
- Provide clients with clear information regarding energy efficiency where required
- Travel to properties across the allocated area
Skills & Experience Requirements:
- Previous EPC / Energy Assessor experience is essential
- Relevant Energy Assessor qualification or accreditation
- Good understanding of energy efficiency within buildings
- Experience carrying out property surveys and preparing EPC reports
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate assessments
- Confident dealing directly with clients
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing a field-based workload
- Full UK driving licence would be strongly preferred
- Experience with both domestic and commercial EPCs would be particularly advantageous
