Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated FOH (Front of House) Team Members to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic restaurant environment, delivering exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess strong communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and ensure they have a memorable dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring prompt service
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions and resolving any issues promptly
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Follow food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, supporting the kitchen team as needed
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required
- A positive attitude with a passion for delivering excellent guest service
- Experience in serving, culinary arts, or kitchen operations is a plus but not essential
