Job Title: Part Time Accounts and Sales Administrator
Job Type: Part-Time, Permanent. Mon-Fri. Flexible, min 18 hours per week
Location: Edenbridge, Kent (with the option of working from home part of the week following the successful completion of probation)
Salary Range: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience (Full Time Equivalent)
Job Summary:
NetVector are looking for a highly organised individual, preferably with office and bookkeeping experience, to join our professional and friendly IT support company based in Edenbridge, Kent.
You will be responsible for elements of purchasing, procurement, sales and accounts administration. Reporting to the Accounts and Finance Manager, this role works with both the technical and finance teams. You will need to be self-motivated, process driven with excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver high standards of customer service.
Full training will be provided and there are opportunities to develop the role and take more responsibility for accounting and account management tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
On a day to day basis this will include but is not restricted to:
- Creating and maintaining purchase orders
- Purchasing, tracking and receiving goods
- Acting as a sales contact for customers, vendors and colleagues
- Monitoring renewals service board to ensure tickets are managed and renewals are processed
- Preparing quotations for renewals of hardware and software
- Preparing quotations for new sales opportunities
- Assisting with sales and purchase invoicing, bank reconciliations, credit control and bank payments
- Dealing with accounts queries from customers, suppliers and colleagues
- Assisting with system configurations and vendor portal maintenance
- Maintaining and updating records
- Identifying and delivering process improvements
- Delivering high standards of customer service through accurate and professional verbal and written communications
- Collaborating with colleagues to build strong working relationships and effectively manage workload
- Adhering to company policies & procedures
- All requested tasks within skill level and ability
Person Specification:
Essential
- GCSEs at grade 9-4 in English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent).
- At least 1 years' relevant work experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Organised with attention to detail and able to work to tight deadlines
- A flexible can do attitude
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and effectively prioritise
- Able to use own initiative to resolve day to day issues
