We are seeking 2 front of house staff to join our dynamic team at Isabella’s restaurant in Porthcawl. We are open Tuesday to Saturday lunchtime and evenings therefore we need people available to work during the day as well as evening and weekends. One post will be for around 25 - 30 hours a week, the other post will be 2 shifts a week (usually one weekday/evening and one weekend with extra shifts to cover holidays).
We are looking for people who ideally have experience in hospitality as this is a busy restaurant with a good reputation. However, the most important requirement is to have good people skills. This is crucial in ensuring exceptional service delivery and fostering a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all our customers. We have very positive feedback on our team and are keen to maintain this high standard of service.
Duties include
- Ensuring excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Greeting customers, taking orders accurately and delivering food and drinks.
- Effective communication with the chefs to ensure timely service.
- Ensuring a high level service to customers, dealing with issues professionally to enhance customer experience.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, ensuring it meets quality standards.
Qualifications
- Ideally experience within the hospitality sector. Will need to complete Food Hygiene and Allergen training if don’t currently have.
- A good team player.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for hospitality with a commitment to delivering a high-quality experience for customers.
