Job Summary
Brownsover Hall Hotel is a beautiful country house hotel set within acres of picturesque grounds on the outskirts of Rugby. We are looking for a Commis Chef who is passionate about food, eager to develop their culinary skills, and enjoys working as part of a professional kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career within a supportive and experienced brigade.
What you will be doing:
You will support the kitchen team with the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes while learning all aspects of a busy professional kitchen. Working alongside the Head Chef and senior chefs, you will assist with food preparation, maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards, ensure ingredients are stored correctly, and help keep the kitchen clean and organised. You will gain experience across different sections of the kitchen while contributing to the delivery of an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
What you will bring to the team:
You will have a genuine passion for food and a willingness to learn and develop your culinary skills. Previous experience in a professional kitchen or a catering qualification would be an advantage but is not essential. You will be enthusiastic, reliable, and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering high standards are essential.
