Senior Spa Therapist & Weekend Supervisor
Friday – Sunday | Weekend Position | Additional Shifts Available
We are looking for an experienced Senior Spa Therapist & Weekend Supervisor to join our team.
This is a hands-on senior position combining advanced beauty and skin treatments with weekend supervisory responsibilities. We are looking for someone confident, reliable and experienced who can deliver exceptional treatments while also taking responsibility for the smooth running of the spa during weekend shifts.
You will need to be comfortable leading a team, maintaining high standards, dealing with client queries and resolving day-to-day issues independently.
This position is primarily Friday to Sunday, with the opportunity for additional shifts and hours where available.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality spa, beauty and facial treatments
- Perform advanced facial treatments including microneedling and chemical peels
- Carry out professional skin consultations and confidently recommend suitable treatments and products
- Supervise the spa and therapy team during weekend shifts
- Ensure appointments and daily operations run smoothly
- Support and guide therapists throughout their shifts
- Maintain excellent standards of client care, treatment delivery, cleanliness and spa presentation
- Handle client queries, concerns and complaints professionally
- Resolve day-to-day operational issues calmly and effectively
- Take responsibility and make appropriate decisions when management is not on site
- Support junior therapists and help maintain consistent treatment standards across the team
- Monitor treatment rooms, equipment and stock levels
- Ensure opening, closing and daily spa procedures are completed correctly
- Encourage client rebooking and make appropriate treatment and skincare recommendations
- Communicate any important operational or client matters clearly to management
Essential Experience & Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy or equivalent
- Professional experience working as a Senior Beauty Therapist, Senior Spa Therapist or Aesthetic Therapist
- Practical experience performing advanced facials
- Professional training and hands-on experience in microneedling
- Professional training and experience with chemical peels
- Strong knowledge of skincare, skin consultations and treatment protocols
- Experience working within a professional spa, beauty clinic or aesthetic environment
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Confidence dealing with challenging situations and solving problems independently
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to remain calm during busy periods
- A professional, reliable and responsible approach to work
Previous supervisory, senior therapist or team-lead experience is strongly preferred.

This role would suit an experienced therapist who enjoys both performing treatments and taking responsibility for the wider running of the spa.
You should be proactive and confident enough to make decisions when required, rather than waiting to be given instructions. You will be expected to support the team, identify and resolve problems, maintain standards and ensure clients receive an excellent experience throughout their visit.

Working Hours
This is primarily a weekend position covering Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and applicants must be able to commit consistently to these days.
There is potential for additional weekday shifts and increased hours depending on availability and business requirements.
