We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our nurturing and professional early years team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about high-quality childcare and supporting children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
Hours of work
Monday - Friday 40 hours per week (or 16-24 hours as a job share)
What You'll Do
- Deliver outstanding care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
- Plan engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.
- Observe, assess and record children's learning and development.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring, patient and professional approach.
Desirable
- Previous training in Safeguarding (Level 1 & 2), Paediatric First Aid and Level 2 Food Safety (full training and CPD provided).
