The Tyn is a family run pub situated in Baglan. It has a bar, lounge, upstairs restaurant with a capacity of 50 covers plus and a large beer garden. The pub offers a number of key attractions which include live music every weekend, a weekly quiz, pool and darts team and live sports. We have also just purchased a pizza oven for the garden which is very popular on warm days.
We are soon to be reintroducing food on a Sundays with a Carvery that is expected to be extremely popular. For this reason we need additional help in the kitchen. You will be joining a team of Chef's to provide high quality, home cooked food here at The Tyn.

As a Chef you will be:
- Accountable for running all aspects of your kitchen
- Be responsible for the preparation, cooking and serving of Lunch and Evening meals Tuesday - Sunday (Sunday lunch only)
- Passionate about maintaining the highest of standards of food and service
- Stock management and ordering supplies
- Maintain food hygiene & health and safety checks and records as per company requirements
- Ensure that all equipment and food service areas are kept clean and in excellent working condition
- Training staff to perform to your standard when you have days off
- Managing a budget
We are looking for someone who sees this as a long-term position. You need to have experience in a similar role or looking for that next step up. This is a full time permanent role however, we will be willing to discuss part time hours.
The restaurant will be closed Mondays (except bank holidays). Other days off will be Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays on rotation.
