Permanent Part Time Job Vacancy: Shop Assistant
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team immediately at our Cash for Clothes drop-off point in Wootton, Northampton.
This is a permanent, part-time position, with the option of either:
- A rolling 4 days on / 4 days off shift pattern, including weekends, or
- A fixed rota of 3 days per week, with at least one weekend day included.
Location:
Waitrose Car Park, Newport Pagnell Rd, Wootton, Northampton, NN4 6HP
Responsibilities:
- Interacting with the general public
- Purchasing second-hand clothes from customers
- Weighing items and issuing purchase invoices
- Paying cash for the items received
Requirements:
- Reliable staff members with good communication and mathematical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience is not required; full training will be provided
Shop Working Hours:
- Monday to Saturday: 10 AM - 5 PM
- Sunday: 11 AM - 4 PM
Salary:
£12.71 per hour (Hourly rate subject to review upon successful completion of the probationary period, based on performance.)
