We're looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Health & Safety Advisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in creating and maintaining a safe, healthy and compliant environment for our staff, students and visitors while helping to shape a positive health and safety culture across the College.
As our Health & Safety Advisor, you'll work closely with managers and colleagues across the organisation, providing practical advice and guidance, delivering engaging training, supporting audits and investigations, and helping to continuously improve our health and safety management systems. You'll also contribute to business continuity and resilience planning and support a wide range of operational and strategic health and safety initiatives.
What you'll bring
You'll have experience of providing health and safety advice in a professional setting, alongside the confidence and communication skills to influence and support a wide range of stakeholders. You'll be comfortable delivering training, analysing information, managing competing priorities and developing positive working relationships across the organisation.
Essential requirements include:

NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- Experience delivering health and safety training
- Current knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice
- Strong planning, organisation and communication skills
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
