Domestic Cleaner – Supporting Vulnerable Adults in Their Homes

We are looking for a reliable, compassionate Domestic Cleaner to support vulnerable adults in maintaining a safe, comfortable home environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, understands the importance of dignity and respect, and can work in a person‑centred, non‑judgemental way.
About the Role
You will be providing practical cleaning support within people’s homes, helping them maintain a healthy living space and promoting independence wherever possible. Tasks may include:
- General household cleaning
- Kitchen and bathroom cleaning
- Laundry and basic organisation
- Supporting individuals to maintain routines that keep their home safe and manageable
Every home and every person is different, so you will work in a way that fits the individual’s needs, preferences, and pace.
What We’re Looking For
- A kind, patient and respectful approach
- Ability to work sensitively around vulnerable adults
- Good communication and reliability
- Understanding of confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Full Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Experience in care, support work or domestic cleaning is helpful but not essential – the right values matter most
